Different people have different views on this question. I believe the soul comes into the fetus at birth or maybe a few days before. Many who believe in reincarnation think the soul has an "out" at the last minute before birth, if the Mom is going to die, or if the child is going to have serious birth defects. Now depending on religious views, some believe the soul is in a fetus from the moment of conception. I am not one of them, to the point, I am pro-choice and believe women should be able to have reproductive freedom. Only she knows what she has to offer a child, and what her resources are. Depending on how psychic you are, you may "feel" closer to the baby at a certain stage. I only had one child, but have health issues which are serious, and when they were at the worst during a difficult pregnancy, I felt like he "knew" when he couldn't move around a lot. So I guess it depends on the specific Mother and child. And your own beliefs at course. I don't believe a few cells have a soul right in the beginning but have read the soul actually can go in and out of the body of the baby during the last pregnancy weeks until it is born. My inlaws are Russian Orthodox, and they believe the soul comes into the baby at the christening. I never agreed with that either, I always thought that the ceremony was about the child being accepted and welcomed into the Church, but as I said, everyone believes differently. Sorry not to have a precise answer for you, it's a hard topic.
