I'm a Cancer Moon, with Aries Sun and Leo Rising. I find it somewhat difficult to balance this watery emotional core with these fiery placements. What do you recommend?

Answer

Hello,

Well, all of your planets are in an astrology sign, all 10, if we include the Sun and Moon, or luminaries. So having the Sun and a Fire Rising sign isn't so bad with a water moon.

The Aries and Cancer are leadership signs, so you have a strong personality, and Leos can be a tad bossy, or come off that way, since the Rising sign is the way others see you.

Aries Sun people are the pioneers, always the trailblazers. This can be evident in your work, or just in your social group (I bet you make all the plans)! Aries are sunny and warm, optimistic and fun people. You can be the life of the party.

The Cancer Moon means you are emotional, but nurturing and kind. Cancers often change, as the Moon goes through all 12 zodiac signs in 28 days. So you make a little shift every two days or so. Cancers are also outgoing to a certain extent, although they do value some privacy. But they get bored easily and know how to throw a great party. Just because Cancer rules the home doesn't mean you walk around with a broom in one hand and a mop in the other. You love to go to restaurants, clubs, vacations by the sea, museums, and are a restless creature. You are also lovable and a little bit reserved, but since Aries shows their love passionately and wants everyone to know, and Leos all expect to be treated like kings and queens, these three signs should serve you well.

Sometimes if we look at the elements, water puts out fire. I have seen Water and Sun Sign couples where the water person worries so much about the fire person it hurts the fire person's development. Is that what you feel here? I don't think you need to worry about it. You could be overwhelming to people with the Aries Sun and Leo Rising, and I think your Cancer Moon is a calming influence on you. Llewellyn puts out a yearly Moon sign book and also an astrology calendar which shows what signs and when the moon moves into and out of them. This could help you plan what to do on the days the Moon is in certain signs. Here is an article I wrote that might help you: http://hubpages.com/astrology/Best-Moon-Signs-For-...
