I am an Aries Sun, Capricorn Moon with a Libra rising. For deeper interpretation, I'm a Taurus Mercury, Aries Venus, and Virgo Mars. I have a hard time trying to keep a relationship (friendships, family, and even romantic) since I get bored or see things as pointless. Do you have any thoughts that can help me?

Answer

The Aries Sun and Libra rising do mean that you get bored easily. Aries, Capricorn, and Libra are what we call cardinal signs, and you want to get your way, be the leader, call the shots. Maybe you are too high maintenance?

The Aries in you shows an original and idea person who is outgoing and fun. The Libra Rising shows you want to be a partner, in love or work. Capricorn Moon helps to hold in your emotions.

I think you have a temper (Aries), but hold it in and don't tell others if you are upset until you really have a long list and let it out in one HUGE burst. The Taurus Mercury means you are stubborn and don't change your opinion easily--but Taurus is gentle, and you won't want to hurt feelings. The Aries Venus flirts a lot and is a Venus which craves variety, so you need an interesting partner who won't bore you. The Virgo Mars is the way you act physically, so you are exacting and critical, but also thorough and practical. I have articles on Letterpile.com and Exemplore.com explaining Mercury and Venus positions further, and also wrote whole ones regarding Suns and Moons (you obviously found the Moon one).

I guess you are critical and get bored fast, but the Capricorn Moon means you want security in relationships, even though you enjoy the thrill of the chase. Libra rising people also really crave having a partner. The Taurus and Virgo should ground you. I think you haven't met the right person yet. You have a very high standard and can be difficult.

As far as family, Capricorn planets are karmic. Normally this is to teach us lessons. But family may be too clingy or throwing too much responsibility on you when you are already grappling with other issues. Even people we love will take advantage of us if we let them. Learn to say no and find a more exciting partner.
