I am a Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon with a Cancer Rising. I feel like these signs collide with each other a lot. Am I right?

Collide is a strong word. But it's a good question. Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are what astrologers call "cardinal signs." They are leadership signs which rule major houses in the astrology wheel, although I can't interpret this without casting a whole chart. We are talking about the first house, how others perceive you, the fourth house of family life and real estate, the seventh house of love and war, and the tenth house of career and reputation. So it's all heavy stuff, although Aries is not represented, which rules the first house.

This makeup means you are highly ambitious and want to lead all the time, getting your way, and will be very aggressive about it. That's great in a career situation, but liking your own way all the time can hurt you in social and romantic areas.

The Libra Sun means you are a social creature who truly enjoys being in a partnership, either love or business. You feel empty and prefer to be with a partner in either situation.

The Capricorn Moon means you crave stability in your relationships and in life, but will take a calculated risk if it's to better yourself. This could be to achieve more in a business way, or to "trade up" to what seems to be a love interest who shares more of your ambitious ideals about life. Capricorn Moons are emotional and loving, but sometimes can be social climbers. You are capable of a warm and loving marriage, however.

The Cancer Rising is the way you appear to others and are much of the time on the surface. You are kind, nurturing, love family and kids, have a tight-knit social circle, and are generally well-liked. You aren't judgmental and accept others for who they are. But you do make conscious decisions about whether you want certain people in your life or not, based on what your goal towards them is.

This doesn't have to hurt you. Just be aware of what your motivations are as you enter into each kind of relationship. Your other planets are all in a house and sign too, and that can mitigate what I've said here and softened the edge of having such strong signs in your Trinity.
