Does Marilyn Monroe's Ghost Exist?

Could Marilyn Monroe be a ghost?

Marilyn Monroe. A name frozen in time. Bombshell blonde and sex symbol of the 50s. Controversial and yet forever memorable. But who was the woman behind the bleach-blonde hair and bombshell body? What really happened to Marilyn Monroe leading up to her death? Did Marilyn kill herself as the majority of society believes or is there more to the story? Many people believe the cause of death of Marilyn Monroe was covered up and that she was actually murdered. If she was indeed murdered and met a tragic end, the ghost of Marilyn Monroe could very well be a possibility.

Is it really possible that the ghost of Marilyn Monroe exists? Is Marilyn Monroe's ghost haunting more than one place? Could Marilyn Monroe's ghost even be haunting the White House? We'll find out about Marilyn Monroe's ghost in this article.

The "Late" Marilyn Monroe

The Untimely Death of Marilyn Monroe

On August 5th 1962, Marilyn Monroe was unexpectedly found dead in her home in Los Angeles, CA. Amounts of barbiturates were found in her body and it was said that her death was caused by an acute barbiturate poisoning of a probable suicide. Reports said that the last person she had talked to was President John F. Kennedy. Does the ghost of Marilyn Monroe want us to discover something? Perhaps her death was not merely a suicide but a covered-up homicide?

Many theories of her death circulated the public's mouths and ears and these theories remain to this day. Did the Kennedy's have Marilyn Monroe murdered in relation to her involvement with John F. Kennedy? While Marilyn Monroe was seeing a psychiatrist in her last days on a regular basis, it does seem fishy that the last person she talked to before dying was JFK. It is also quite suspicious that Robert Kennedy was seen near Marilyn's home the same night of her death, according to the witnessing of one police officer in the area.

What killed Marilyn Monroe? Apparently an adverse reaction between two different types of drugs found in her body, the second being that of an administered enema to help her sleep. There has always been questions as to who administered the enema to Marilyn Monroe, because that enema held a contraindication to the other medications that Marilyn had been taking. Of course the doctors claimed they had no idea she was mixing the two. So is it possible instead of an overdosed suicide that this was a mere accidental death? Or was someone set up to administer this enema to Marilyn in order to put the Kennedy's out of the public eye with Marilyn Monroe?

Apparently Marilyn had been trying to "get at" the Kennedy family and supposedly had an obsession with becoming first lady. Was this true or all propaganda created by the media at the time in order to have a good story, I don't know. But they also say that Marilyn had been planning future movies and whatnot right before her death and was supposedly in a good why the sudden change of heart? Why would she make plans and then off herself? I find it ironic that in the instance that Marilyn sang "Happy Birthday Mr. President", the man that introduces her beforehand calls her the "late Marilyn Monroe". Irony or premonition? Whatever the actual cause of death for Marilyn Monroe, one thing is for sure - Marilyn Monroe's ghost has been seen in dozens of places and is still seen to this day.

Marilyn Monroe's Ghost - Sightings & Beliefs

Marilyn Monroe's ghost has supposedly been seen in dozens of places around Hollywood and elsewhere. The ghost of Marilyn Monroe is believed to haunt her old home in Los Angeles CA, particularly around the area that she was found dead. Is the ghost of Marilyn Monroe stuck in this world because she met her tragic end in murder?

Another place where Marilyn Monroe's ghost has been seen includes her Hollywood star and even her old Cadillac! Watch the video at the end of this article to see the pictures that one tourist in WA took of Marilyn's Cadillac that was on display at the time. It looks as if Marilyn Monroe's ghost is seated in the back of the vehicle, and she is turning around to be a part of the picture! A subtle but noticeable pink mist has been seen around her Hollywood star and also in front of her grave.

Where she met her end is where the ghost of Marilyn Monroe is said to be the most active. But Marilyn Monroe's ghost has also been seen haunting different hotels in Hollywood including the Roosevelt Hotel. One particular area of the Roosevelt Hotel where Marilyn Monroe's ghost has been seen is in Suite 1200, the suite where Marilyn stayed when she visited the hotel. Her figure has been seen reflected in a full-length mirror more than once since her death in 1962. The ghost of Marilyn Monroe was most often seen directly following her death...perhaps she was trying to get away from the place where she was murdered?

However Marilyn Monroe came to face her fatality, it is positive that the ghost of Marilyn Monroe haunts more than one place in this country. Could she be traveling the country in her Cadillac? Maybe the ghost of Marilyn Monroe is still residing in her old Hollywood home...just waiting for a visit from JFK...or maybe Marilyn Monroe's ghost is waiting for the right time to reveal herself at her Hollywood star.

Enjoy ghost stories and love MM. There undoubtedly was a cover-up the night she passed- what was covered-up is buried under a great deal of misinformation. Wouldn't it be great to have a legitimate séance and give her a chance to reveal what happened- Enjoyed the article.

I'm a huge Marilyn fan and have found the circumstances of her death interesting and mysterious. I also enjoy reading on the paranormal and your article has the perfect combination of both! Really liked it!

Great hub. I often wonder what Marilyn would be up to if she were still alive.

phoenix - I agree, it was a very tragic ending for someone so beautiful and special. I honestly think she was prettier before the bleach blonde hair and nose job, though! Thanks for sharing the link. :)

OldWitchcraft - I hadn't noticed, but you're right! I agree...lots of people do seem to hang around.

Interesting! That image is a little different depending on how many times you blink. It looks like Marilyn and then an owl... and then Marilyn... and then may a flyer stuck in a window on the other side of the car.

But, I don't know why she wouldn't be hanging around. Lots of dead people are, it seems.

Accolades and vote up!

I think it's very possible that Ms. Monroe still roams Hollywood. Maybe it's the only place she ever felt like a 'somebody.' It's a sad ending for anyone, but especially for someone who captured the world's imagination.

I'll be sending this link to my daughter as she is a mad Marilyn Monroe fan. She even has her tattooed on her arm.

Voted up, interestesting and awesome. Socially shared.

Hi again Kitty. I saw the Judy garland story years and years ago, and some of the things the studios asked of her would never be accepted in a trillion years by today´s stars. You SHOULD check it out, I know another great hub will come from it, by you. Good luck with that one :)

bac2basics - I haven't seen the judy garland story, but now I am FULLY interested. I agree, it is possible that she just couldn't take the torment from the men in her life. It's so sad, she really was a shining star for more reasons than the industry let her believe. There were other stars and singers that said she was way ahead of her time and very peculiar in certain ways that she was so intelligent. I hope she finds peace, as well. Thanks!

Hi kitty. It seems true what the commentator in the film about Marilyn said...Stars in those days were just commodities..Have you seen the Judy Garland story ? Mix that up with the president and possibly his brother messing her about and then extracting themselves from what could have been a tricky situation, I think it´s possible that Marilyn just felt so used and abused it may have got too much. Whether she killed her self or not will never be known...Who could let that out of the bag? If she is still haunting various places. I hope she finds peace sometime. I wasn´t convinced by the video, apart from the colour change to black and white , my initial feeling was that there appeared to be someone sitting in the back of the Cadillac right from the start of the long distance shot...Maybe a wax work dummy of the star herself. What ever..RIP Marilyn , you really were a shining star. Great hub Kitty.

b. Malin - I agree, she was wonderful. She didn't know how special she truly was, unfortunately. It is quite possible that she was killed off to silence's a shame really.

carlinemd21 - Thanks so much for sharing. I love her too.

Very true, Angela! Take Marie Antoinette and Anne Boleyn for examples on that...they've been dead for centuries and their ghosts are still seen to this day.

I'm not quite sure how you can be "spiritual, rational, and practical" all at the same time, because technically if you're a spiritual person, rationality sort of goes out the window. And no, I don't think that it's too long for a soul to wander without a body...I think that either time is different where these spirits are or they are simply stuck between worlds. Or it's possible that we are seeing glimpses into the past.

Don't you think it's too long for a restless soul to wander without a body? Sorry, if I sound spiritual. But I'm not being irrational, but practical! I wonder what is Michael Jackson doing in Heaven (or Hell) ? ...As He Came Into The Window It Was The Sound Of A Crescendo, Aaooo!
