Is the Illuminati Going to Take Over the World?

We watch videos about them on Youtube, we hear about them in movies, and read about them in literature. The Illuminati is theorized to be a real secret society, geared towards the goal of establishing a new world order despite the cost of lives and destruction. Do you believe the Illuminati is real?

In this article, we will establish the basic beliefs as to why the Illuminati might indeed be a real secret group of powerful individuals. But if they are indeed real, are they really that evil or is there perhaps a different group in existence that are truly the evil ones? We will also examine the opposite point of view—why the Illuminati is not a real Satanic secret society and how this conspiracy theory has spread. Is the Illuminati conspiracy theory based on fact or simply fear?

So Who Is This Illuminati Group?

So we hear all these rumors and see all these cleverly-created videos on youtube pointing out who in the entertainment industry is a part of the Illuminati, but who is the Illuminati as a whole and why do we care?

The Illuminati is theorized to be a secret society of individuals of high-ranking status (be it political, religious, or judicial) that are involved in Satanic magic and will do anything to establish a New World Order. There are theorists out there who believe many catastrophes and events have been caused by the Illuminati in order to sort of weed out the population or get rid of people they don't want around...people that get in the way of their ultimate agenda.

There are supposedly thirteen families or "bloodlines" who are the Illuminati royalty of which I'll go into detail about in my next article. But these families are pretty much the wealthiest in the world, and they have their hands in almost every large industry in existence today. So when we hear of people in the entertainment industry also being a part of the Illuminati group, they are considered to be at a lower level than the thirteen royal bloodlines. Celebrities are considered to just be Illuminati puppets (tools that the Illuminati royalty use to help execute their evil plans).

Freemasons are supposedly a huge part of the Illuminati group, and the freemason name is used as sort of a cover-up for the higher up people of the Illuminati. These theorists also say that the freemason symbols are all actually symbols of the Illuminati. They even go as far as to lump Pagans (namely Wiccans and modern-day Witches) into the same group as the Illuminati, claiming that the magic they learn in these religions is all a part of the big plan of the Illuminati. Of course these people are at the lowest end of the pyramid (according to the picture at the top of this article). The Knights Templar is another secret society group that is also said to be a part of the Illuminati big picture.

So we're talking pretty much anyone with any power, anyone who isn't a middle-class Christian, anyone in a secret society of sorts...they are all a part of this group called the Illuminati that want to take over the world and establish a new world order.

How Did the Illuminati Secrets Spread?

If this secret society of evil magicians is so powerful, how in the world did the Illuminati's secrets spread across the internet? Would we have even heard of them if indeed they were a real secret society with an agenda of re-establishing the world?

There are some people who leave the entertainment industry, mind you very minor celebrities if celebrities at all, that claim many others in the industry have sold their souls to Satan and joined the Illuminati. So these random and far-apart stories from D class celebrities and people who barely make it into the music industry fuel conspiracy theorists' stories about the Illuminati. If you look into the people who are making these videos about the Illuminati on Youtube, you will see that many are extremists...meaning they are extreme in their own religious beliefs be it extreme Christian or Muslim or otherwise. It begins to seem like mere religious propaganda once one begins to really research the people behind these so-called leaked Illuminati secrets.

There is an entire website dedicated to exposing Lady Gaga as an Illuminati puppet, which I have looked over thoroughly and have found the website owner to be an extremist. He is probably one of these people who also believe that the world is going to come to an end and that the anti-christ is on his way in. Or that zombies will one day take over the planet. Are theories and words from people with extremist beliefs such as this really credible to give us proof of such a powerful group like the Illuminati? I'm starting to believe that the Illuminati is merely extremist Christian propaganda. Another fear tactic meant to scare the public into believing that everyone is against them, that Satan is in control of everything, and that they need to repent before the end of the world.

Is the Illuminati Really Bad, If They Indeed Exist?

My question is, if the Illuminati exists, are they really all that bad? First of all, all of the symbolism that the Illuminati supposedly use is painted to be so evil; however, if you know anything about what those symbols actually represent, you might think otherwise. For instance, the pyramid. It's on the back of our dollar bills, it's said to be an Illuminati symbol because the dollar bill supposedly says "New World Order". Let's look at the roots of the pyramid symbol. Pyramids are a representation of a few different ancient cultures—ancient Egyptians and Mayans and a few more. These ancient cultures were powerful and also worshiped ancient gods.

The pyramid represents a couple different things—but if you break it down to its most basic form, a pyramid is basically an arrow pointing towards the sky. Or towards God or heaven, if you are a religious person. The base represents us here on earth. So basically, we're looking towards the sky for knowledge and guidance. Or you could look at it like we're looking towards God and the universe for knowledge and guidance. Wow, that seems inherently evil doesn't it?

What about the all-seeing eye that the freemasons and "Illuminati" place on top of this pyramid. The eye is actually another ancient Egyptian symbol that is the Eye of Horus. It also represents the third eye chakra or our souls' eye. Seeing the truth, finding knowledge, these are all a part of using your third eye. And if the truth shall set you free, why would seeing the truth and seeking knowledge be a bad thing?

And if the Illuminati want to create a New World Order, might it be so bad? To unite countries together as one, to allow basic human rights to everyone? These are just questions that most do not seem to bring up when they speak of the Illuminati theory. What do you think about the Illuminati?

Conspiracy theories really run amock whenever religion is introduced. Michele Travis, a commenter below did speak a lot of truth especially about the heirloom seeds and farmers not having access to seed to plant their harvests. The real question is are these events related or is there some bigger plan greater than the Illuminati.

There is so much speculation on this subject, all you have to do is research for yourself, then research the research. You have to be blind in this world to not see the one eyed man is king...I didn't believe it at first, but I realize EVERYTHING they do is in isolated incidents and random changes in laws and regulations etc. Eventually it won't matter if we believe or not.

One time fo yo mid I wanna build with you fam I appreciate that info.

Obviouzly there is a belief in thiz so called illuminati otherwize the information you searched for waz irrelevant. No perzon would rezearch a probable lie or wazte time inveztigating something that they have heard of or seen over and over again unlezz truth seems to stick out. So whether bigfoot or illuminati, to go into such an EXTREME (as you say) search about thiz subject meanz either there iz a truth to it, or you are an extremizt yourzelf.

Just remember the unseen center of that pyrimad is Satan..those societies and magicians and witches and entertainers and the elite 13bloodlines you mention are his cohorts. WHATEVER SATAN promised them will never come true or exist much longer..satan is the Father of Lies..deception is his middle name..i believe the comment of the person that visited that dwelling that seemed haunted..mostly likely was/is i go in certain establishments and my spirits not comfortable..however their power along with satans in minuscule to my God and will not fact they're All-ready Defeated..they just don't know it !

This is a wonderful hub. It is also true, but the illiminati goes back very far. The first time the word Illuminati was ever written was from the official printings of the Rosicrucian's. In 1203 B.C. You can google that and find out a lot more about the illuminati. It was quiet for a very long time until 1776. There are going to try to take over the entire earth with the New World Order, The World Bank which is connected to the Federal Reserve. The World Bank has a website, but the World Bank's website is a lie. They are also going to reduce the population of the world by using several different ways.

      Such as

1)Humanist Manifesto and the Georgia Guide stones

2)Bill Gates talking on Vaccinations that should reduce population by 10-15%

3)World Bank, UN and others Gifting and Loaning monies to small countries for them to "Improve their Crops" by starting to use the new Patented Seeds.

4)No "Normal Seed" (Heirloom or Shaker) is left for the people to plant their own Crops

I did not even mention a Single one of the numerous conspiracy theories that go hand in hand with all of these FACTS!

There is a lot going on in the world right now. Your hub is a very good one, and I hope more people believe it. It is true.

      Voted up.

The Brotherhood of the snake's modern adaptation of fraternity is the secret organization famous for its use of reformed ( infiltrated) Christianity as a tool for ultimate control. The King James version of the Bible, edited by Sir Francis Bacon (a 33rd degree Freemason), is used to create ORDER in society through the implementation of a Belief system geared towards their Fascist Ideologies. The CHAOS is carefully orchestrated to insure the passing of more and more LAWS that will (eventually) completely destroy FREEDOM. This is why there is more and more MORALITY being preached by the Politicians. The brotherhood throughout the ages have used the great motto "Ordo Ab Chao" meaning Order Out of Chaos. Agendas are formulated designed to give the powerful even more power. Chaos is therefore manufactured by design and through the use of controlled and orchestrated media, confusion is created. Then cries go out for solutions to the problems and confusions manifested. Laws are passed which could never have been passed without the use of implemented chaos. The Order has reigned by deception of the masses, and the Agenda is Accomplished step by step. The workings of all ages is a long term project to enslave the population both physically and spiritually. Govern ments and religions are therefore used to steer the ship of ultimate mind control. After all, it IS those secret societies (which follow this Egyptian model) that control the finances, Governments, and Religious systems that currently plague the planet with perversions of truth and Fascist agendas.

The age of revelation is at hand.

The struggle between all polarities of energies is the ultimate truth and reality.

Open your mind and set your heart free and the small, restricted world which has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from these truths will be revealed.

I personally am starting to believe more and more in conspiracy theories.

I don't believe nor disbelieve in a lot of things due to the fact they are possible but not really factual.

I was exposed to a movie when I was 14. Just watching the movie itself become reality mortifys me. It wasn't a mainstream movie but it seems more like reality than something can't 100% be proven did or didn't exist.

Does it have to be some vague secret society that is imposing it on us?

secret societies have had a major influence on the running of society for thousands of years. Today we call it freemasonry, an interlocking fraternity organisation which has its tentacles reaching within every corner of the globe, its higher levels of degree membership working towards different agendas to those at initiation level. Ancient times they were called 'Brotherhood of the snake' a society of priests from Egypt.

Hi FIS...Thank you for your insights about the Freemasons being partly responsible for introducing democratic ideas to government in the US and France.

I am less fearful of those who want to grab power than a little suspicious. I wouldn't want them killed, as they would have those silenced who do not agree with them...but I would do everything I can to protect my freedoms (and I do so judiciously...under the "an it harm none" ideal)...I'd work to help those who need it...and share with those who have less...but am protective of what I believe are my rights....from the Bill of Rights. :0)

Secrets can help or harm...but most of the time they do more harm than good, especially if someone is being hurt and doesn't feel as though they can find help/relief (like children). Everyone's spirituality is their own, and to be respected, especially if they do not force it on others...only invite trusted others to share...and use it only to do good.

and Kitty..I don't remember what I wrote in my last comment, the one not yet approved. Wanted to edit it, but was not given the chance went straight to moderation. Feel free to delete it, anyway. :0)

There are lots of reasons why wizards and witches may have secret societies. One has to do with the fact that a literal reading of some books of the Bible prescribes capital punishment for wizards and witches and people who have believed that, have executed wizards and witches.

Another reason is that, mystical knowledge/experience changes the way the mind works. Each change makes it possible to acquire more knowledge/experience... much of these bits of knowledge/experience can't be told in words... a famous quote: "the Tao that can be spoken is not the Tao". That's why Jesus spoke in parables. ("He who hath ears to hear, let them hear.") The most that a wizard or witch can really do for someone is point them towards paths that have worked for them... and they do... ofttimes by inviting newbies to join their secret societies. However, different paths work for different people.

Seafarer Mama, I know I wont convince you... but history as it is currently told makes it seem as if Freemasons are responsible for democracy in America and France and that one of the big things they helped to establish is freedom of speech and religion both of which, in human history, are very new things. The only qualifications for membership are that you have to believe in a supreme being and the immortality of the soul. (Oh.. and you have to be male... although there are Masonic movements that have split from the official Freemasons who admit women.) This meant that during the middle ages, they associated with Jews and Muslims when that was not a particularly safe thing to do. If they have been corrupted with time it is that... in your average American town, the Freemasons are just a bunch of guys who get together at their lodge halls where they've got a bar and work out social and charitable events. Ever since the Anti-Freemasonic movement in the (I think) late nineteenth century, American Freemasons have made it a rule that politics can not be discussed at the lodge, although, I'm sure in places where everyone thinks the same, they do anyway. Not that there isn't more to them in other places and times. It also seems very likely to me that Rosicrucians and Freemasons had a bit to do with the Protestant Reformation. Although I have to laugh at the fact that Catholics were, apparently, justifiably afraid of them and certain kinds of protestants are currently the ones most likely to take the capital punishment of wizards and witches seriously.

However.. the first thing a wizard or witch might tell a student is that fear is failure so... yeah.. wizards and witches who keep secrets out of fear are most likely to be corrupted... and people who fear any conspiracies are too.

Hi Kitty, - I understand your aversion to the idea of the Left Behind series. My husband and I watched a movie made based on the books out of curiosity. Though we wrote off the premise of the book as overly Christian and somewhat cultish, the character of Nicholas Carpathian reminded us of people we know, and some of the politicians who are running for in that sense, there is a rather secular crossover. N (overbearing, abusive of power/position, and aggressive about getting others to see things his way). No matter what the scenario, that type of personality is one to be wary/self-protective of.

I often find myself asking why corporations like Monsanto are allowed to get as far as they much seems to be hidden from the public view. If there is such a movement to use common citizens as puppets...what power do we have to say "no" and stop it? I often think about how I can be part of the solution...or resistance, to such a trend.

Okay...I will leave you alone now, on this...and appreciate your willingness to pose this pub the way that you have....very thought-provoking!

Seafarer Mama - Very interesting thoughts, thank you for sharing them with us. While I do believe there are secret societies that might have questionable agendas, I still have a hard time believing in this "Illuminati" theory. Also, I have not read the Left Behind series, and if it's the series I'm thinking of...isn't it a Christian series? I tend to shy away from books that are meant to scare those into religion. Thanks for writing! :)

      Hi Kitty,

Hmmm...very thought-provoking hub. Somehow, my gut instincts say to stay away from the Freemasons, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were part of the "Illuminati." My husband wanted to join and I have not really encouraged him to do that, because he thinks Paul Revere and other American Revolution patriots were Freemasons. Back then, they might have been somewhat benign, but who knows what they have morphed into today.

I tend to be suspicious....sort of on the "wolf in sheep's clothing" premise...for though the Freemasons seem to be behind the Samaritans and host lots of good things, and use a somewhat universally "benign-ish" symbol...they could be hiding their real purpose behind all that. I don't trust them and it would take a lot to change my mind.

To me, if real zombies exist...they are living, human beings who have failed to use their minds and follow others...therefore selling out their minds and souls for others' agendas (and spend far too much time in front of any screen, be it tv, movies, and/or computer).

And I totally would not lump Wiccans, white Witches, white Wizards, and white Magicians into the Illuminati set. They are their own entity.

The secrecy thing is part of what gets me. Yes, it is good to practice reserve in sharing one's knowledge of certain things with only those we think can handle it or use it judiciously, but there are lots of societies that make secrecy inherent in their make-up for its own sake. Why not share knowledge that will make us better...and by extension make life better for others?...and encourage people to take control/ownership of their own lives?

I could go on, but I'll end here. But, have you read anything in the "Left Behind" series? There is one character named Nicholas Carpathian, and he's bad news...and some of the GOP candidates for office remind me of him....

FIS - Very good points indeed. You're right, it's easier to push all of this into one big "super secret group" if you will instead of believing it's a bunch of corporations and wealthy folks running and controlling everything. I always just assumed that the conspiracy theorists were confusing a lot of secret and semi secret groups, getting them all jumbled together in their heads and attributing all their fears to one super group. Much of the magical/symbolic aspect of these theories have to do with Free Masons and Rosicrucians.. the Rosicrucians of course are all about making the world better by trying to turn the lead of their own humanity into the gold of the divine... a lot of modern Wiccan technique does come from them.

Another book you might like to put up an ad for is "Everything is Under Control" by Robert Anton Wilson (a member of a few secret societies himself). It's like an encyclopedia of conspiracy theories with a sense of humor.

A lot of modern groups that conspiracy theorists like to talk about, like, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group actually have their own websites these days. How secret is that?

I'm trying to include a link to a song with The Simpson's take... but.. I don't know if links come across in comments or not... we'll see.

This is very interesting. I've read a lot about the Illuminati and have seen many documentaries on the brotherhood. I also do believe that economically and politically we are uniting into "continental countries," which can prove dangerous, since any time there is a centralization of power, you have fewer checks and balances to make sure it is not abused. And also, look at what economic centralization did to Europe. Great hub!!
