There's Magic in Tea

Tea is a beverage that has been used to treat or prevent various ailments for thousands of years. The Chinese tea culture is one that is mysterious, thrilling, and deeply rooted in Chinese medicine. But more people than just the Chinese drink tea for medicinal and magical purposes—the Native Americans, the British, and the Southern ladies in the U.S. all drink tea for specific reasons. It is an enjoyable beverage but can also be a drink to promote health, vitality, wealth, and love (among dozens of other reasons).

Come with me to learn about the different teas that you can drink to promote certain needs and desires in your life!

Good Luck & Money Tea

Who doesn't wish they had better luck or more money in the bank? If you're like me and would like to improve your life in the area of finances, drink a cup of tea. No, seriously. Money may not grow on trees (or so they say), but you can promote the law of attraction by drinking a cup of tea and meditating on your desire of having more money.

Try a hot cup of rosemary tea. Rosemary is an herb that has been used for centuries in the Mediterranean for health, vitality, and prosperity. It has long been associated with the Mother Goddess figure, as it was thought to have been draped around the neck of Aphrodite at her birth and it was named after the Mother of Jesus...Mary. You can easily grow rosemary in your garden or in a pot, pick a sprig and pour hot water over it to make your very own fresh rosemary tea. Drink and promote prosperity in your life.

More magical teas to promote good luck and money:

  • peppermint tea

Magical Tea for Sleep & Dreams

Are you having trouble sleeping lately? In addition to ceasing the caffeine intake after 2 pm, you could also try drinking a cup of tea to relieve stress and ease you into a state of mind for sleep. Tea is magical, but it is also practical and has been used to help people fall asleep for centuries.

Some tea to help you fall asleep:

  • chamomile tea
  • lavender tea
  • lemon balm tea
  • valerian tea
  • jasmine tea
  • white tea

Perhaps you have no problems falling asleep, but you would like to have sweet dreams. Maybe you've been having problems with nightmares, or perhaps you'd want to increase your dreaming abilities. Shamans and medicine men have been using herbal teas to increase psychic dreams and premonitions for years, and it is a practice that stretches across the globe.

Some teas to increase your dreaming capabilities:

  • Mugwort tea
  • Wormwood tea

Many have considered mugwort to be the dreamer's herb, as it enhances lucid dreaming capabilities and the ability to partake in astral projection in your sleep. Wormwood is a key ingredient in absinthe, but it has been used for generations to connect with the spirit world and will also be quite useful in enhancing your dreams at night. As always, use in moderation and with caution.

Magical Teas for Love

You've got the money and sleep categories covered, but maybe you're still waiting for that special person to come into your life. Or maybe you have that person, but you need a little sprucing up in the romance department. Try drinking and serving a magical tea for love. This may be considered a "potion" by some; however, I consider it a tasty drink that has certain special properties. Don't serve tea to anyone who doesn't like it or to anyone who doesn't like you, as a general rule.

Here are some teas for love:

  • cinnamon apple tea
  • hibiscus tea
  • rosebud tea
  • cherry tea

Many fruit and floral teas are perfect to induce the feeling of love and to bring love into your life. You can purchase already-made tea bags from the store (I recommend Celestial Seasonings as they are mostly natural), or you can grow your own fruit and herbs and make your own teas. If you decide to grow and make your own teas, they will be that much more magical and aid in your desires because they have your energy and intention.

For Vitality and Long-life

Green tea is the essential long-life tea, according to the Chinese (and much of the Western world). According to more than one study, if a person drinks more than one pint of green tea a day, it is supposed to lower their risk for heart disease and therefore death. So drink up, folks! Whether hot or iced, organic green tea is best to restore your vitality and bring hope for a longer, healthier life. You can get green tea straight from China, and in Oolong version if you'd prefer. My personal favorite is Tie Guan Yin, a premier green tea imported from China.

Other magical teas that provide for a longer, healthier life and vitality include:

  • Ginseng Tea
  • Lemon Tea
  • Pau d' arco tea
  • Uva ursi tea
  • Peppermint tea
  • Moringa tea
  • Magnolia Bud Tea

Teas To Cleanse the Aura

Everyone needs a pick me up energetically, from time to time. The best way to get that so-deserved pick-me-up is not through a gallon of caffeine, it's through magical tea of course! Everyone has an aura, and everyone needs their aura cleansed often. If our auras are not cleansed, we begin to feel weighed down...low on energy and low on life.

You can quickly cleanse your aura with a cup of magical tea, believe it or not. Don't believe it...try it!

On a Full Moon, the best tea to drink to cleanse the aura is blueberry tea. Not to mention the anti-oxidants in blueberry tea are off-the-charts. Cleanse your aura and your body with this cup of magical tea on the next Full Moon.

Other aura-cleansing teas include:

  • Pomegranate Tea
  • Peppermint Tea
  • Tie Guan Yin Tea
  • Jasmine Tea
  • Sage Tea

So drink up, folks! Magical teas are inexpensive and delicious.

Uses for teas that I hadn't heard of before either. Must find first and then try some of these ones for lucid dreaming and psychic enhancement. I often drink green tea, peppermint and chamomile. I must find out how to bookmark hubs. I use to know but seem to have forgotten or its been changed. Thanks for the information.

I had no idea that tea had metaphysical applications. At first I thought this was a typical article on tea, and now I see the benefits. I am a student of the law of attraction and will be trying basil tea, peppermint tea or

      green tea.
