Do Soul Mates Exist?

As little girls, we fantasize about growing up and meeting our Prince Charming. We dream up big weddings with beautiful gowns, loads of people, and a beautiful church with stained-glass windows. As we grow older, we wonder if there's that perfect someone out there for us. We ponder on the concept of a soul mate. Some of us believe we have soul mates and are destined to meet them.

So, do soul mates exist? If you are open-minded and believe that anything is possible, why isn't it possible that when our souls were created they were created in pairs or even groups? If this is true, than one of those other souls in that group would be considered your soul mate. Many people say you choose to reincarnate with the same souls each lifetime...so meeting your soul mate in this life would be highly likely in that case, wouldn't it? But can we meet our soul mates in our dreams before meeting them in reality?

Are Dreams Real?

Dreams can take us to far-off places. Surreal places where reality is blurred and things aren't what they seem. For some of us, we are taken to places we've been before. And for some of us, our dreams seem like future memories - experiences in our dreams sometimes become reality. Are dreams just psychological pictures that can be brushed off as "all in a person's head"? Or are they something more?

Again, to answer this question, it has to be answered by the individual. This is a very subjective topic with very subjective opinions. For me, I've had dreams that have come true on one level or another, so I know that my dreams can be real to some degree. I also believe that our dreams can be distant past-life memories and even memories from other realms of existence. And if you pay more and more attention to your dreams, you'll realize more and more how your dreams can reflect your own life both past, present and future.

A tip on how to use your dreams to read the future is to start writing down your dreams every morning. At first you might not remember your dreams, but as soon as you wake up write down any thoughts or feelings you might be having. After awhile you'll notice that you're writing down your dreams every day. And you'll begin to notice patterns in your dreams and in waking life. Pay particular attention to the people in your dreams...are you meeting people in real life that you've already met in your dreams? It's not only possible, it's quite likely you might meet them in your dreams before meeting them in real life. Give it a try. I dare you.

Meeting Someone In Your Dreams & Deja Vu

Often when we dream we have other people there with us. Sometimes their faces are blurred or they are vague people who we believe we only know in our dreamtime. Sometimes they're people we already know in real life - a family member, a friend, a neighbor, etc. So how do we know these vague dream people are people we've yet to meet and not just another figment of our imaginations?

First, and as mentioned above, write down your dreams. Write down exactly what this person says to you in your dream, how they make you feel. It's quite possible this vague person in your dream is one of your soul mates' astral doubles (dream selves) meeting you in the dreamworld. Very often our astral doubles will go ahead of us to meet people we're supposed to meet in reality.

Next take note on how often this person shows up in your dreams. Also note if they have any specific messages for you and where they show up. These could be premonitions as to when and where you'll meet your soul mate in real life.

When you actually meet your soul mate in real life, you'll know it immediately. It's that feeling of deja vu. A strong urge inside that tells you you've met the person before, and that your soul already intimately knows them. It's very hard to explain the feeling to someone, but once you've had it you'll know. It's very likely that one of you will even say, "I feel like we've met before". Or "I feel like I know you from somewhere".

When you meet your soul mate in real life, you'll know immediately.

Is It Your Soul Mate or Spirit Guide? Or Are They the Same?

Everyone has a spirit guide or guardian angel that helps them on their way through life. They might show up in your dreams to give you messages of encouragement or teach you lessons when you need them most. Sometimes they're there when you just need comfort. The same spirit guide you had as a child will be the same one you have as an adult. There is usually one that stays with you your entire life, while there can be other guides that come and go as your life progresses.

Some people theorize that our soul mates could actually be our spirit guides. In ancient times many cultures believed that everyone had a "double" spirit that would leave their bodies and travel to various places when the person was either asleep or in a trance. It's possible that this astral double could be your soul mate's double guiding you through life until you meet them in real life. It's also possible that your spirit guide is separate from your soul mate but they might be very similar in appearance or demeanor.

So how do you know when you're dreaming of your spirit guide or your soul mate? This is a very difficult thing to determine in many cases. Keeping a dream journal of your experiences will help. You can also ask your spirit guide to reveal him/herself through your dreams. Ask him/her if he/she is your soul mate, too or just your spirit guide in this life. If you're unsure how to ask them, you don't have to ask out loud. Praying in your mind is the perfect way. When you get your answer, you'll know. You can also ask for signs. If your mind is open enough, your signs will appear in waking time via a symbol, animal, or message in nature, on television or through a friend's words.

If you haven't met your soul mate yet, don't worry...you will! Either in your dreams or in reality, he or she will appear.

I'm in my second year of college. I turn 20 in 2 mouths. When i was in elementary school i remember i had a dream about this guy. His name was something along the lines of Trey and Troy. I think it was Treves(by the time i woke up i didnt remember his name but remembered that i did what i could to remember his name.

So in the dream i was waiting for him. I was with 3 other girls and was going to choose who he was going to marry. Idoubted myself. They told me he loved me and will choose me but i said no and ran off. Point is is that after about 20 minute, he sent the girls to look for me because he chose me and won't take anyone else. The girls were so happy for me and had no envy as if they knew before hand that id be with him and only him. When we found him he was by the food area. I cried in his arms and he told me that he only loves me and that im perfect. He kissed me and said it makes him sad when he sees me cry.

Years later in 2015 during September.... i met him. In this life time his name is Sean. He was working at a pretzel place at the mall. It was a sunday and i stopped by quick before my Catholic studies. My heard was pounding on my chest. I wanted to cry in his arms. He looked me in the eyes. He looked shocked and happy. He was surprised to see me. You could see it in his eyes. He gave me a loving smile and look. I still see him to this day but not as often as before. Ever since 2016 in June i havent seen him much. He got a different job. I see him during college sometimes and when we do see each other he smile and smirks a little. I look at him with awe each time and he knows. Thats when he smirks a little and chuckles.

Whatd i do? I saw him today when i was rushing to get home. I wanted to cry. I just wanted him to follow me out of the library and tell me it will all be ok. That he still love me as much as he said he does.

I have always had lucid dreams for as long as I can remember. I vividly remember every detail and feelings but nothing quite compares to a feeling when you feel that someone is your soulmate in your dreams. I dreamt this morning of him. Blue-green eyes, attractive specimen of a man, an instant connection and feeling of not wanting to be without him, I felt love and content. I have always felt that the relationship that I am in is one that will never work out in the long run. Always knew he wasn’t my soulmate. In my dream though this man is also drawn to me. We are drawn to each other. Time stopped for us. We were talking and laughing, getting to know each other, in awe of what we are feeling. It’s like we are in this time warp, some force keeping us there. Our eyes both blue-green in color lock us into this euphoria of feelings. He than says,”so I thought you were going to marry this guy”. I tell him “no, I thought the same”. “It didn’t work out between us, he wasn’t made for me”. And at that moment we look at each other knowing that that was the moment where we knew it would be me and him and him and I only. I then woke up..missing him. Wanting him and that to be real. Still thinking if this human in my dream is my real soul mate? Is he my spirit guide or my guardian angel? I woke up in love of him and hoping I can one day find this man of my dreams. I prayed to myself. I ask for signs of him. I think I will wait for just that, my soul mate. I don’t know who he is but just that feeling alone keeps me hoping for him. ~

So in my dream I had to go so far and go through a lot of stuff just to tell her I loved her and then she said she loved me back I know this person in real life but I never really talk to this person or love this person in real life. What does this mean? The dream felt so real and Different than any other dream.

I had five dreams with different scenarios but with same feeling.

    First dream:

When I'm was on my first year of college in the year January or February 2015, I had a dream where I am standing on a very beautiful white radiant peaceful paradise with a man standing behind me whom I love and who loves me to the most (even though I don't have any boyfriend or whom I call "love" at that time). We were standing beside the tree while watching the sunrise and sunset view from a high mountain. We're clothed in a very white apparel. While capturing the view, he then hugged me from the back and kissed me on my forehead where I felt so great love between me and him. Then I woke up.

    Second dream:

This happened last year January 2017, on my third year college. I'm on my way with my younger sister to LDS Manila Temple (Mormon Temple-Philippines) with of full luggage and with an exhausted body caused by traveling. Then a man approached me to give me a sit. He looks like this: He isn't a good-looking man, English-speaking man, Short man, Foreigner (not Filipino), White Skin, wearing a white polo. He told me that he was a Mormon missionary but I can't see his name tag. He looked me in the eye, offered his hands to shake and said: "You look so familiar" then I replied that I haven't seen him before. Then he asked if where shall I go. And I replied that I'm going to the temple. Then he gladly invited me to come with him cause that's where he's going as well. He held my hand, smiled, and looked me in the eye. As I look into his eyes, the first dream did replay.

Connection of first and second in real life:

At first I thought it was my close school classmate who's my crush as well that plays the man in my first dream. But after a year, he had a girlfriend, so i didn't thought about the dream again, telling myself that I just insist that he was him even though he's not. Then after a year, I had this second dream happened on the 2nd week of January 2017. After two weeks from that time, it was my grandmother's birthday. So I and my younger sister came surprisingly to our province. It was Saturday. Then after 5 minutes upon arriving our grandma's house, there were two men who knocks and calls outside the house. Then I welcomed them, knowing that they're Mormon missionaries. Then me, my sister, grandma and auntie conversed on some certain topics especially about us who came from Manila. Then one of them asked me and offered a handshake for me. Then suddenly he said: " You know sister (call for women inside the church), YOU LOOK SO FAMILIAR". At first I felt weird, I felt like I heard this before. There is something in his eyes as well as I look into his eyes. I felt I have known him for a long time. As I recapture the moment, I remembered my dream. At first I can't believe it because of his looks that was totally opposite from what I have seen in my dream. For in person, he is tall, "Kayumanggi" skin color, he is a Filipino, and he's a good-looking man for me.

And this still small voice came into my mind and into my heart saying, "It is him".

Before I woke up yesterday morning, I met this beautiful girl who posseses most of the qualities I need in a woman. She was so much interested in me but I was showing off simply because she showed so much interest in me. I find myself floating (not flying) as I keep staring at her as she also starring at me. After a while, I saw another lady I intended having a business meeting with that morning. Then it appeared as if this other lady was standing in front of a goal post and I went closer to her still floating but with a ball this time around. Then I kicked the ball towards her and scored a goal. I went to church that morning and I saw a girl looking exactly like the first girl I met. She made so much effort to relate with me but I was so religious trying to focus on the sermon. After a while, she starting packing her belongings to leave but I discouraged her from leaving as it was raining so she stayed back a little before the rain stopped. As soon as the sermon was over I asked her why she was leaving before time and she said she's leaving for work so I freed her. I knew she wanted me to collect her number but I was still forming religious as I was in church. Finally she stood up and left. Then I turned back and saw the other girl I was meant to have a business discussion with seated right behind me. In a nutshell, it's obvious everything happened as I saw in my dream that morning. Now I'm feeling something for the first girl and I can't forgive myself for not collecting her number. I don't know if she's my soulmate as she seems to be my spec of woman. I don't know if I will ever see her again. I solicit your advice.

Nice article kitty I understand the premonition dream bit it has happened to me lots. I met my soul mate in 2012 in edinburgh. I knew I would get married before it happened. It took a lot of strength and courage to get to marriage. I had a long standing joke before it happened that I would finally get along the isle with a Zimmerman frame. But I got the day we wanted in July 2015.

I just broke up with my girlfriend about 2 weeks ago, and last night i had a dream about another girl that I don't have any idea who she is.. i never met her in real life but somehow familiar to me, so the dream started when i found an abandoned small rv van i met her inside, we just casually talked about ourselves, get to know each other it was fun and full of laughter too, and it is come to a point where i said its late night we should get some sleep... But the bed is too small, is it okay if we share the bed? She said yes... So we sleep together and i remembered that we kissed and make out for awhile.. just suddenly we woke up in the morning and the rv is on fire, so we moved out to find another place to stay, we walked and at that point i feel a very stong bond between us, i feel like she's the one I've been looking for, it feels like i know her but actually I don't... So after we walked i finally wake up im unable to finish my dream... And it keeps me wandering all day.. i remembered everything (usually i don't remember any of my dreams) i feel like she exist... I feel comfort i feel a strong connection with her... today just mostly thinking about a dream its just weird and amazing at the sametime... I do really hope that i could actually find her somewhere in the future.. the dream was just so clear for me.. is it actually mean something? I never had a dream like this... This is the best dream i have ever experienced...

I had a dream that i was holding a baby and handed it over to a guy i never met. I told him "Hold our baby, im going to the park." The weird part is that i said his name and in real life, ive never knew a guy with his name. Then i was at the park suddenly playing basket ball and he came too. I asked him "wheres the baby?" And he pointed a 5 year old boy running around the court. Then we were playing against each other and thats why everything was fading. I told my cousins about it and they just thought it was weird.

Then a week after the dream, we planned a girls night out and went karaoke. Then suddenly my friends were talking about a guy who needed a prom date and thats when my cousin mentioned my name. I asked who was he and they said his name. The guy from my dream! I was getting goosebumps and my cousins looked at me. No one else knew about the dream but them. And what was also weird is that there were suppose to be two other girls going to prom with him before me but they both couldnt go. The following days, i had a phone call and it was him asking me to prom.

Long story short, i went prom with him and we went out a couple times after. And when we were officially dating, i told him about my dream and i asked him if it was weird. He surprised me when he said, it was a blessing to him.

We've been together for almost two years now and ive never been happier. I really wanted to share this because to the very day, i think its just a coincidence? Or was it really meant to be?

The man inside of my dream is actually a very dear childhood friend of mine. He truly cherished and protected all throughout the time we knew each other. But we lost contact because i had to move back to my hometown. Several times i dreamed about the two of us in various settings, most of them were us hanging out with our close friends but several times were just the two of us playing together. There were times we both chatting and hanging out but whereas before we mostly pictured as teenager, on several dreams we were both young adults (well like seriously i think the dream me is 26 years old as well contrary to other dreams where we were teenagers). However, starting this month, the dreams shifts to events i don't even recognize and in those dreams we kind of have a fall out and we would only stare at each other in a cafe. And last night was the weirdest, because i don't even have any guy close to me as of right now, but in the dream i spoke and interacted to another guy while he only looking at me longingly (?) he did try to ask me about things but he's kind of restricting himself (?). However i kind of overheard my friends said that even tho i look good with the other giy but my friends insisted that i look the happiest with my childhood friend (and yes tho i feel good interacting with the new guy i only feel at peace when i'm talking or even only enjoying each other companies with my childhood friend). The thing is i completely never contacted him for the last 10+ years but he always appear in my dreams and doing everyday activities together like i meet him everyday in real life.

I usually meet people in my dreams every now and then but this time it stuck with me. This guy with blonde hair and Hazel eyes is the description of a physics reading of what my soulmate would look like she also said we would live in a log cabin. I remember the scene so clearly too and lastly I couldn't remember his name for the life of me.

I don't clearly remember this clearly it happened about a month ago. In the dream I was in college and my bestfriend/roommate was this guy and we did crazy things and acted like a couple sometimes. In the dream I remember drawing him a picture of a cat which he hung over his bed that was pushed into the corner and his sisters came running in (dont know if this would mean anything or help at all but the walls were logs and had a log cabin feel. he had a large bed in the corner by the half wall seperating a kitchen from the living/bedroom and the room was covered in posters) then I woke up at 3: 33 am like I was violently shaken awake when no one else was in the room.

In the second dream from about a week ago I walked into the room and I felt like I haven't seen the room in months and saw the drawing of the cat had scribbles all over it. It than switched to him on his family's farm and I could sense a girl there likes him and he kept talking about finding his soulmate and how he knows she's out there somewhere waiting for him. It then switches back to me and he comes walking in before giving me a hug and tells me how he missed me and then I asked him about the drawing and I remember he said exactly "oh yeah my littlest sister wrote all over it". It than skipped to him laying on his bed and I was on my bed (across from his) and he walked over and leaned against it and started playing with my hair and said " You better not leave like that again" While I responded with "I had to find myself". It than skips to me in my room and I'm talking to him through phone and I remember him asking some questions and then tellse he likes a certain type if girls (describing me) and that he missed me. We the Go into a face time call and he was knife farm while I was home and he was about to tell me where he lived when I woke up at 3: 33 am like I was violently shaken awake.

This was more of a daydream and a short one of that. I was thinking about those dreams and was hit by a sudden burst of live and affection when the daydream started. I was back in the room and I was on my bed and he was playing with my hair again telling me a story about the " Domino effect" While playing with my hair and then he went on to tell me how much he missed me while I was gone for the week (this was a week after I had the dream) and then I snapped out of it and felt like someone slapped me.

Oh one last thing i dont knew his name but for some reason i knew him as wolf song

Annabeth G - You could very well be dreaming of someone you will meet in the future; however, what I believe is happening is you are being contacted by a spirit guide. Someone who is not alive but is in the spirit world, who you potentially shared a past life with. He is trying to look over you and protect you.

Okay, so my story's a bit of a doozy, and it's a LONG one. Honestly, I'm just hoping for answers, or for someone to just tell me I'm not crazy.

On February 13, 2017, I had a dream about a guy that I felt a crazy attraction to, and since I never really feel attracted to anyone in real life, I was confused by how strongly I was pulled to him. However, as a normal rational person, I decided it was just some late teenage hormones kicking in and didn't think too much about it. A while later, I had a second dream about him where we were doing normal couple stuff like shopping and going on a vacation, and I wrote it down because I was so fascinated by it, however, those records are sadly lost and I don't remember much of the details. Then, I had a third dream of him in which I remember saying something along the lines of "I wish you were real" or "it's too bad you're only a figment of my imagination" and he got really upset and we had an argument about whether he was real or not before I woke up. He stayed away for a bit, as if upset, but then I began to feel as if I was being hugged from behind by someone not quite physically there whenever I was alone, but it was a very comforting sensation.

Here comes the truly creepy part. A while later, I had a dream where I was in a corner of my mind and not really in control of my body and I engaged in a sexual act of sorts. Even in the dream I was disgusted and fought to control my body. I woke up horrified feeling as if I'd been raped inside my own head. The saddest part is, I'd sensed him somewhere in the corner of my mind fighting to get to me but he couldn't. He never appeared in my dreams again.

Now, up till now, I was just experiencing weird dreams; nothing to really worry about except how much tv I watched. I told my closest friends about it and one suggested it was a ghost who was attracted to me while the other suggested no caffeine before bed from now on. Then, they dreamed about him as well (both dreams were very recent, hence my newfound interest in dreams). My skeptical friend dreamed of him first, and in the dream, I got married to him. Now, I'm only slightly less skeptical of these things than my friend is, but when she described him in detail, told me things about him even I'd forgotten to mention to either of them, I believed. Then, my paranormal expert of a friend had a much less cheerful dream. The thing about her is, though, her dreams are usually very accurate about the future and in her dream, he told her something along the lines of "I'm going to do something stupid, make sure she doesn't worry about me."

And now I've descended into the research hole where you desperately look for answers cause you have no idea what the hell is going on and you question reality as you know it. Thanks for reading, and if you think this is fake, my answer is: I wish it was.

I've been dreaming about my Soulmate for 7 years. His face is clear, so precise you would be able to recognize him as soon as you meet. He never changes, his voice is the same, his personality is the same, he gives me info about him... And I can often sense when he will show up once I'm in my dreams. The only odd thing is that I'm not allowed to know his name, he only told me once but it was like an acronym.

Im not entirely sure about this but I may have possibly in my dreams met her, Every single dream I have had of a girl when i asked them out in my dream they have said no, though there was one where I ran into a girl i like and then her friend just started yelling at me saying she doesn't like me. But recently there was a girl I was looking for and later we kissed...but I'm pretty sure it'll be really hard to get her attention since she is an actress. Ill try to get her attention though. lol

Some years ago I wondered who is my soulmate (I didn't knew all the things I know now about this topic because I haven't read much about it) and I had this dream about a guy, I remember little about it because I have forgot it and just now I remember it, because I think I've saw this guy in reality. I'm not 100% sure, because I don't remember the dream very well. I've never met this guy in person, just saw him on the internet, and I've never talked to him, but I remember that the first time I saw him I had a strong feeling and I thought "It's him" (seems a lot romantic, when I'm not a romantic person but okay haha). Anyway, it's been a while now since that moment (a year or so) and I can't stop thinking about him, and even if I've tried really hard to forget him and let it go there's always something that reminds me of him, for example I see his name somewhere, etc. I discovered that he lives really far from me, in the other half of the world..but guess what? Recently (just when I almost succeeded on let him go) I discovered that he moved near me, for a while I think. I don't know if he's really my soulmate, I feel he is, but maybe I'm wrong and I'm afraid is just an "illusion" because I've been hurt in the past, and that's why I'm trying to avoid this whole thing, but I have the feeling that everything is pushing me toward him instead. Oh, and also in this past year I had a lot of dreams about him, dreams when I felt a really strong connection with him. It's the first time I feel a connection like this with a guy, and the fact that I've never even met him surprise me a lot because I don't even know him.

What do you say? He could be one of my soulmates?

prodigioushuman - just because you've met one of your soul mates, doesn't mean you'll end up with them romantically. You could be soul mates but your souls might be meant to learn other things in this life. Soul mates can also end up as friends, family members, etc. from life to life. So to answer your question, no. Not necessarily. And definitely don't force it.

there's a girl who is always in my dreams. sometimes she's there just a second, sometimes she's there the whole dream. i just met her in real life. it was so weird. there were 30 people in the room and my eyes landed on her immediately. days later she told me that she was sure we had met before, i told her that we met on a dream, she agreed on that too. but we're both in relationships, if she really is my soulmate we will end up together right?

So, I had this dream two days ago, I met a guy, and we talk and flirt a little and I feel like there was a deep connection between us, I just felt like he was another person and we were sharing a dream, we looked confused too, but suddenly the alarm started and I was about to wake up, and he was too, so he turn around to go and I shout "don't go", he turn around surprise, I quickly switch off the alarm and fall sleep again, he is still there, I felt so happy, I hugged him and say " I had to give you this " and we kiss and he looks so happy but then he stops smiling and say "I wish I could see you again" and I wake up.

It was wonderful but now I'm really confused because this morning I was going to work when I saw this guy, literally my heart skip a beat, he was looking at me, as confused as I was, but I'm really shy and I was already late so I just keep walking and now I wonder if I will see him again...

I'm afraid it was just a coincidence... I'd like to know if someone had have a similar experience, I'm sorry for writing too much is just... I needed this out of my chest...

    Thanks for writing.

Well i think i finally met my soulmate and he's my current boyfriend actually. I have experienced it all i mean the one you mentioned above. Before i met him i have dreams about him like we're on a date but i couldnt see his face and im like chatting with him, i dont really know who he is but i know he's the same guy im dreaming about. And yes I experienced deja vu on the date thing like the exact seat the exact movie and the exact clothes we're wearing and i was like "what?" and looked at him lol. But then something awful happened between us and we're on the verge of breaking up but i didnt gave up on him and by the time Im about to give up on him because im hurting way too much, now he doesnt want me to. We're still not 100% okay because of what he did and he still abit awkward but I believe we'll be okay maybe not now or tomorrow but eventually. I want to believe in him :)

I often have dreams that later come true. When I met my soul mate, I didn't dream of him beforehand, but as you say above, I knew it when I met him. He is unlike anyone I have ever known.

    Thanks for writing.

annart - I absolutely agree we have to work at it. I've been married to the same man for 7 years, been together for 9. I would say we started out rocky but as time goes on, we get better and better together. Because we put the effort into our relationship. That being said, I DO believe in soul mates, and I think we often reincarnate with the same souls around us. Of course we meet different souls throughout life that teach us different things, but we also are around the same ones too. I believe dreams are more than just dreams. Thanks for reading and sharing your opinion.

I think we're very lucky if we meet our soul-mate. Even then, I agree with the person who said we have to work at it. However, there is possibly more than one soul-mate, so if one dies there could be another to find, though the chances of find two, let alone one, would be low I think.

Food for thought here though. Dreams are interesting and reflect much of what we feel and what we live out in reality, making our minds mull over it all and give us a few answers if we can make them out.

    Interesting hub!

Enjoyed reading this. I know I have spirit guides and I am sure my husband is a soulmate. My Guardian Angel came to me once when I was in distress. I can feel his presence often, especially when I walk labyrinths. Invite him to walk with me.

Since I am writing a novel, my dreams seem to flee out of reach as soon as I open my eyes from sleep. They depart before I can even grab my pen and notebook. If I do remember one, I'll write it down. Thanks for the extra inspiration!

That is why I believe most of us have more than one soulmate in our life.......My understanding of soulmates are people who you have a natural connection too.......and yes I believe there can be multiple ones in your life.......

bluesradio - Very cool! And you're right, there are multiples but for this hub I was focusing on just the concept of one. Though I've written about "soul groups" in my past hubs. :) I too have had a run-in with a soul mate who was not the most positive person...and not a good person to have in one's life...at least not in this life. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts and experiences. :)

Very interesting. I cannot judge this one way of another. When I met my soul mate, I was not paying attention to my dreams in such a way. On reflection I think I dreamt of her as she is today, 15 years later.

Two things to this Hub...One I believe we actually have multiple soulmates in our life, and I have been fortunate enough to meet several of them already...Some online (our actual meeting will probably come later) and some in person..

I can also tell you I have had the experience you are talking about..I remember as a High School kid going to a Summer camp for minorities and when I first went into the room, it was if I had met every last one of those students prior because I had dreamt about them and new them even before we were in the same space.....I also believe that our ancestors and angels talk to us through our dreams on a regular...

And, last but not least, not all soulmates are positive...I have also had a run in with a previous connection at least once or twice and that unfinished business must still remain unfinished for another life, another time probably...

Sorry, not buying it. If we're made in pairs and have "soulmates" what happens if one dies prematurely? The other is destined to be alone forever? I rather think that we pick a person to be our soulmate and then work to become soulmates for the rest of our lives!
