The Blue Aura: Personality, Health and Career

Blue is the coolest color on the color spectrum and is thought to be one of the most calming colors. A person with a blue (not Indigo) aura is typically seen as a calm, collected person. A person with a blue aura finds logic as important as emotion. Could your primary aura color be blue?

The Coolest Color on the Spectrum

The color blue is often seen as a symbol of peace and spirituality because of the calming affect it can have on the mood of a person. Blue can reflect intelligence and self awareness. The blue aura is not demanding of attention but makes itself a known presence simply by being there. People with a blue aura thrive on pleasing others and getting attention without demanding it. Do you find that people seem to notice you without you even trying? You may have a blue aura.

Coolest Color On The Spectrum

The blue personality can be complex and confusing because of the difficulty they have finding balance between emotion-based responses and logic-based responses. They may find it hard to decide if they should react with logic or emotion and may falter as they decide. Once their mind is made up, it cannot be changed. Blues will hold on to their convictions very tightly.

Blues love logic, but also have strong emotions, which they are not prone to show easily. Blues are spiritual people, holding their spiritual choices close to their hearts. They will not be swayed in their choice but they will try to sway you. They are very dedicated to their desires. If they desire money, they do not stop until they have achieved wealth, for example. If they are in love with a person, nothing can stop them from expressing their intentions.

Blues are passionate about all they believe in and can be very affectionate. The person with a blue aura may find that they cannot let go of some of their ideals, even when outdated or wrong, because they have held on to them so strongly. People with the blue aura can be stubborn, but will be stubborn quietly. They may agree with you in talking, but will stay true to their own decision. Blues also have a strong need to be needed.

They measure their success by judging how people react to them or how many people are in their lives. If the reaction is not what they want, they may wonder away from those people to find others, or even change jobs until they find a good fit for them. As long as they feel they are making a difference and are needed, they will stay. A blue is also very intelligent and seem to have a knack for storing information and pulling it out when necessary. Some blues will keep many notebooks, journals, if information they have gathered and experiences they have had, so they are ready at a moment’s notice for anything that comes their way. A blue will not allow themselves to be caught off guard.

Strong in Spirituality and Self

A relationship with a blue can be exciting and wonderful. They love to give and will remember, taking notes if necessary, what they did to please you. They will stick to what works but are still willing to try new things. Blues love constant attention and can come across as being “needy” or smothering. They will watch for reaction and may wonder off to another relationship if they do not get the attention they desire. If your blue aura person seems distracted in the relationship, ask them how they are seeing things. Chances are, they misread a reaction or do not feel needed enough.

Blues love to impress and will use their charm, intelligence and emotions to achieve their goal. Blues love to be the center of attention for short times, such as the length of a party, and will seek out parties or groups of people to maintain that feeling of importance that is so vital to their emotional self. This can be exhausting to someone who is more independent but a dependent type personality will find a good fit with someone with a blue aura.

As calming as the color blue is, so can the person be to another person. Blues love people and will be happy to sit quietly next to you as long as they feel that is what you need. Blues will eventually let you into their deepest self, but they must fully trust you or they may have their own motive, such as watching for reaction. Blues thrive on reactions but rarely let others see the deepest part of themselves; they will release just enough to be seen and appreciated. Some may find this very frustrating because a blue always seems to be thinking and planning, without divulging what is going on in their heads.

Blues Love to Help

Blues color comes from the throat chakra, the emotion based center of the body. Ever get a lump in your throat when upset? That is your throat chakra working. Because of the emotions based in the throat, a blue may be prone to sore throats and perhaps allergies that affect the throat. Blues are not usually physically strong or muscular. Blues are not the type to seek sports activities for entertainment. They can be prone to being overweight because of this lack of physical movement. Blues are emotional and tend to have high blood pressure and weak immune systems because they internalize so much information and feelings.

Blues love interaction with people and will excel in careers such as coaching adults with rehabilitation or working in a nursing home. Blues can be very emotional so may be prone to need long vacations if the stress of the job affects them. Blues do best when working closely with one or two people at a time, but many in a day. A blue aura personality is well suited for piloting an airplane or supervisory jobs, even a CEO of a company. They are intelligent and logical, making these careers a good match for them. The blue is most suited for healing jobs though, as long as the job itself does not overwhelm them.

another hub I am interested in.

This is one thing I do not have knowledge in but would like to.

I understand that one can learn quickly how to read their aura or others.

This I would love to learn to do. I had a friend who was not psychic or didn't care to be, was a believer in any of this unknown stuff but he could see auras

He would always ay he would see mine clear/white or I can't remember how he explained it but to that fact. I did look it up at the time.

thank you for another great hub

Blue describes me though,, however I think most of us have most of those traits. This is why I would love to learn more about aura's and how to read them.

Thank you for your comments. :-) A person can have many layers to their aura and when first learning how to read them, it can be confusing. One beginning method to see your "base" or main color is to place your arm on a white piece of paper and look at your skin against the paper. What is the first impression of color you see? This is usually the "base" or primary color to your aura.

I do not know if I am not getting it but tried the white piece of paper.

Do you stare for a bit or is it in the first few seconds. Do you do this with our without the lights on. Sorry just very interested and enjoy this stuff from someone sincere and knows what they are talking about.

If its in the first few seconds its clear, nothing

You should write a hub on how to read aura's

I am working on a hub about reading the auras. :-) Those that I have taught that have to have fairly bright light and it is in the first few seconds. Try moving your arm a bit away from the paper, or the paper away from your arm. That may help.

These hubs are really interesting. But everyone's aura changes many times a day, depending on their mood and energy level, doesn't it? I've had my aura picture taken with a kirlian camera, and it usually is a mixture of blue and green. My husband's would often come as yellow and orange. But if we had pictures taken again, they would be different.

Your outer aura will change and if you are particularly upset, nervous or sick, the interior aura will change colors. The way to know your primary aura is the one closest to your body or what is the usual color if you have yours looked at a few times. Another way is to look at the combination of colors, say if most of the colors are in the yellow/brown family, then that is your aura color. It can be an effort sometimes to find your primary aura, I do agree, as moods can affect it. Try to get tested when you are calm and neutral feeling. Thanks for your comments and asking questions!

Thank you for the information! I can "feel" people's moods, but have so far been unable to see their auras, so want to keep trying.

I left a comment on your article about the magenta aura because I have both blue and magenta. I enjoyed this article, too.

I agree with much of what was explained. I was told that I am all blue. However, my right upper body part(from shoulder down to hip area) was a darker blue than rest of my body. What does that mean?
